Football, Day 3

From 15:10, on a continuous rainy weather, a field almost cover with water and around 10 degrees, our team performed very well. Today, actually, we lost two points. The opponents hit the pole in the first half and that was all what they achieved today. On the other side, we dominated quite much of the game (maybe because they had two ladies in their team :-P). We did an aggressive pressing and had two big chances to score the winner. Both happened in from of the opponents' goal. One time, our player totally miss-kicked the ball and the other time, the ball stopped in the water couple of inches far from the goal. There were also other opportunities. We need to improve our performance in front of the goal, be a bit more courageous and score some goals. Football means "Beat the goalkeeper and score as many goals as you can!"
But the funny part of the day it was that we had a new goalkeeper ... Would you guess who? ... that's me ... haha ... how it happened? Here is the short story.

Does anybody has a ball today because I forgot mine in the car, at FGI? ... it was how the afternoon started. We were just arriving in Mustikkamaa. Seconds later, the football shoes, shin-protectors and socks were also forgotten. We came with FGI's car and almost my entire equipment remained in my car. I am so stupid!!! It is not enough time to go back. Can I play football today? ... I still have a T-shirt and the ordinary sport shoes in which I came. Minutes later I decided not to let down my team and play ... GOAL-KEEPER. Hahaha ... great weather to play goalkeeper. Plainty of water in front of both goals ... Just try to keep focus, shout to the defenders and don't care about the water at all. Fortunately, in the end everything went well. I kept the goal clean. Just that again, I forgot one thing ... to take some pictures. Next time, hopefully after a victory.
