Universitatea Aalto

Universitatea Aalto este o nouă universitate, multi-disciplinară, în care sțiința și arta se întâlnesc cu tehnologia și afacerile. Aalto a luat ființă la 1 ianuarie 2010 prin unirea a trei foste universități importante din Helsinki: Universitatea Tehnică (TKK), Școala de Economie (HSE) și Universitatea de Artă și Design (TAIK). Noua universitate are campusuri și puncte de lucru în orașele Helsinki, Espoo și Lahti.

Începând cu 1 ianuarie 2011, Aalto va fi restructurată în șase școli, rezultate din reorganizarea facultăților existente în cadrul fostei Universități Tehnice după cum urmează:

1. Școala de Arte și Design (School of Art and Design / Taideteollinen korkeakoulu)


2. Școala de Economie (School of Economics / Kauppakorkeakoulu)


3. Școala de Inginerie electrică (School of Electrical Engineering /
   Sähkötekniikan korkeakoulu)


4. Școala de Tehnologia chimică (School of Chemical Technology / Kemian tekniikan korkeakoulu)


5. Școala de Știinte (School of Science / Perustieteiden korkeakoulu)


6. Școala de Inginerie (School of Engineering / Insinööritieteiden korkeakoulu)

La rândul ei, noua Școală de Inginerie (fosta Facultate de inginerie și arhitectură) va avea în componență 7 catedre (departamente), 2 centre de cercetare și 2 institute de cercetare, dupa cum urmează:

Football, Day 9

VTV - GL 2-7 (1-2)

A great way to end the season. Again a good game from our side, with a terrific second half when we scored 5 goals. Actually the opponents were better than the ones from the last weak, but we played more efficiently :)). Personally, I consider it has been a great summer season and a wonderful experience. In the end, we did not perform so bad as some of the FGI colleagues though at the beginning of the season. Today, I took a photo as well. Unfortunately, there were only eight of us.

Football, Day 8

HUVI - GL 1-5 (0-4)

What a victory!!! What a performance!!! What a wonderful sunny day!!! Today, we did an amazing game. A very good first half in which we took a comfortable lead. In the second half, we continued attacking and creating lots of opportunities. Either their goalie, the pools or our relaxation made the score not to evolve astonishingly. In the end, we converted in a goal only one more opportunity. The opponents scored their goal in the very last seconds. So, this is a second victory in a raw and the feeling is nice. One more game and the season is finished. Hyvää töitä GL:n jalkapallomaajoukkue!!!

Football, Day 7

GL - KELA 3-0

There is no much to say about this game as it was not played. It was a forfeited victory as the opponents could not gather a team to play against us. A victory is a victory but personally I would have liked to do it on the field. This was the first game from the 2nd phase of the tournament. Two other games will follow before the season is closed. Keep you updated!

Football, Day 6

MIKES - GL 2-1 (1-0)

Sad, sad, sad. One more defeat ... this time against the best team of the group ... if this might be an excuse. With 5 changes, the opponents dominated the game especially physically. However, they did not have too many chances because our defense manage pretty well. Two individual mistakes gave them the opportunity to score. We conceded the 2nd goal 5 minutes before the end. Again we score a goal after an excellent team work between three of our players. This gives hope for the future games. Unfortunately one goal was not enough to earn at least one point.
The result means we will finish the group stage on the bottom 2 and we will play some additional games for relegation. The program will be announce later.

Football, Day 5

GL - EVIRA 1-3 (1-2)

So another defeat for our team. The second one in the raw after loosing 1-2 in the previous game. Actually today we played the worst game in the tournament. If in the previous games our goally and defence was the key of our game, today their performance was worse. Moreover two of our players got injured. Hopefully, the injury is not serious and they will recover fast. The opponents scored all 3 goals by shoots. I consider that our goal was the best one. It was a great and fast combination among 3 players which started from our field. However, one it was not enough today. With only 2 points so far we need a victory in the last game against the best team of the group. Otherwise, we gonna get the last place most probably. The hope dies last.
